Integrated Therapy
Children's Health℠ Integrated Therapy A Panda Cares Center of Hope provides transitional pediatric care between acute-care hospitalization and home. We offer coordinated, comprehensive services for children from infancy through age 18 with developmental or birth disorders, traumatic injury and severe illness.
No one likes to be sick, especially children. And for those who have spent weeks or months in a hospital, fighting an illness or recovering from an injury, only one place is truly comforting – home. We create a treatment plan that fits your child’s specific health needs.

A Health care team devoted to each child
Our highly skilled board-certified pediatricians, pulmonologists and rehabilitation medicine physicians, are supported by a team of pediatric nurses, therapists, dietitians, psychologists and other specialists to ensure all your child’s needs are being met during their recovery. Our hospitalists, who are board certified in pediatrics, make daily rounds and remain on call 24/7.
Help for families at every step
The moment a child enters our doors, a case manager and social worker are assigned to assist the family in identifying community resources, to provide appropriate counseling and to help design a thorough discharge plan. Family care conferences are held within the first week after admission and every two weeks thereafter. Children's Health Integrated Therapy also has a relationship with the local Ronald McDonald House® to accommodate overnight or extended stays for qualifying family members.
Family-centered care
We believe that children flourish when surrounded by family. We furnish parents and other caregivers with support, education and hands-on training pertinent to a child’s condition. Family members are encouraged to participate in many aspects of a child’s treatment, as they will be critical to providing follow-up care at home. Parents can stay 24 hours a day while learning to provide care. Even siblings are invited to join in playtime and to interact with their brother or sister, further simulating the normal routines of home.
