Senior Vice President and Chief Health Equity Officer
Stormee Williams, M.D., serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Health Equity Officer at Children’s Health℠. In this role, she spearheads the organization's strategy to identify and eliminate health disparities, which involves systematically collecting data on social determinants of health and fostering external relationships with community-based physicians and organizations.
Dr. Williams, a board-certified pediatrician, has revolutionized pediatric care through her work in innovation and telemedicine. As the Medical Director of School-Based Telemedicine at Children’s Health, she manages research, quality and implementation of the telemedicine program, which was established in 2013. Under her leadership, the program has grown to serve more than 240 schools.
Prior to joining Children’s Health, Dr. Williams was a lead physician and pediatrician at Parkland Health and Hospital System and the Martin Luther King Jr. Family Clinic.
Dr. Williams earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Spelman College, her Doctor of Medicine from Morehouse School of Medicine and a Master of Business Administration from Texas Woman’s University.
