Jennifer Barrera

Executive Vice President, Strategic Initiatives

Jen Barrera serves as Executive Vice President, Strategic Initiatives for Children’s Health℠. In her role, she is responsible for the execution of strategic capital initiatives. Jen oversees planning, design and construction and patient experience, ensuring alignment across these three key areas to advance the organization’s mission and vision.

Prior to joining Children’s Health in 2022, Jen served as the Vice President of Strategic Implementation and Academic Program Development at Ascension.

Jen earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication and Media Studies from Louisiana State University. Jen earned her Master of Arts in Advertising from the University of Texas at Austin.
