Senior Vice President, Compliance and Accreditation and System Safety Officer

DeAundre’ Cherry serves as Senior Vice President, Compliance and Accreditation and System Safety Officer for Children’s Health℠. In this role, she oversees system initiatives related to regulatory compliance and employee and environmental safety. DeAundre’ is responsible for the development strategies to support system growth. She spearheaded the system’s first corporate concurrent Joint Commission survey.

Before joining Children’s Health in 2016, DeAundre’ managed accreditation and patient safety activities for two Texas health systems, including UT Southwestern Medical Center and Texas Children’s Hospital.

DeAundre’ graduated from Texas Woman’s University with bachelor's and master's degrees in health studies. She also earned a Doctor of Health Administration from Capella University.
