Vanessa U. Walls

President, Northern Market

Vanessa Walls serves as President of the Northern Market for Children’s Health. In her role, she is responsible for driving market strategy in the Plano area and the operations and performance of Children’s Medical Center Plano campus and all Plano-located facilities.

Prior to joining Children’s Health in 2011, Vanessa was the Vice President of Ambulatory Services for Children’s Hospital & Medical Center in Omaha. Her career has spanned 30+ years as a leader in health administration, including positions in health systems, as well as in urban and rural hospitals, ranging in size from 39 beds to 900+ beds.

Vanessa received her Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration and Management from Auburn University. Vanessa earned her Master of Science in Health Care Administration and Management from the University of Alabama in Birmingham.
