Pediatric Physical Therapy Program

Pediatric Physical Therapy Program

The physical therapists at Children’s Health are nationally certified to provide inpatient and outpatient services for any child facing limits to their mobility, communication and overall ability to connect with the world around them.

At Children’s Health℠, we provide innovative, specialty care in a child-friendly environment. Our tried-and-true, cutting-edge methods have helped hundreds of thousands of children. Most of our pediatric physical therapists have been working in the field for over a decade, treating about 20 children each day.

We’ll tailor your child’s physical therapy program to their individual needs and goals. We’ll also partner with the occupational therapy, trauma and injury prevention teams to provide comprehensive care to address all the physical challenges your child faces.

Children’s Health is committed to relieving pain, preventing future injuries and improving your child’s ability to move, play and grow. Our pediatric physical therapists have specialized training in managing injuries to help prevent or delay the need for surgery.

Experts in the unique needs of babies and toddlers

Babies and toddlers have different needs than older children and teens. Pediatric physical therapy programs for younger children and infants are usually designed to help your child meet major milestones such as crawling, walking and running. Our team also works with infants and toddlers who need help with feeding, helping them learn to eat independently or use their feeding tube more comfortably.

We understand that the issues your baby or toddler faces may affect your ability to bond with them. That’s why our team prioritizes your family’s individual needs and goals to help bolster progress. We have seen physical therapy remove obstacles to the parent-child bond, and we look forward to helping your family.

We partner with your family

No matter your child’s age, injury or illness, you are an essential part of their progress. Whether your child is recovering from an injury or managing a chronic condition, we show you how to work with your child between appointments so they can progress more quickly.

We will also help you build the confidence and skills you need to support your child’s well-being. It’s our privilege to help you understand what’s happening with your child, what you can do about it and how to measure their progress.

We involve your family and your child in the goal-setting process so that your child’s plan remains focused on helping your family heal as a unit.
