The Orthodontic Clinic is part of the multidisciplinary Craniofacial Team at Children's Health that brings together a variety of specialties to provide comprehensive care to each child. This team consists of Plastic/Craniofacial, Dentistry, Oral Surgery, ENT, Speech Therapy, Psychology, and Social Work.
Providing conventional and specialized orthodontics care
Orthodontics is the field of dentistry that deals with irregularities in teeth. Orthodontic intervention usually relies on appliances such as braces to straighten teeth, close gaps or improve bite. Orthodontic treatment in young children can help permanent teeth come in precisely.
If your child's jaw is misaligned, she may have trouble chewing, breathing or even speaking. Our orthodontists work closely with oral and maxillofacial surgeons to make sure your child receives the best treatment available.
