Our comprehensive primary care services range from preventive care to sick visits to chronic disease management. We diagnose, treat and help prevent a wide range of conditions, illnesses and injuries, supporting your child’s health and wellness at every development stage.
These visits are scheduled appointments to check your child's growth, development and overall health. Our pediatricians offer preventive care at these visits, including:
- Newborn care, screening and breastfeeding counseling
- Immunizations for vaccine-preventable illnesses
- Screenings for hearing, vision, scoliosis, developmental delays and mental health
- Preparticipation physicals for school, sports or camp
- Nutrition counseling
We provide acute care to diagnose and treat a wide range of sudden, short-term illnesses and injuries, including:
- Fever, cough and pain
- Flu, colds, strep throat and pneumonia
- Infections of the ears, eyes and urinary tract
- Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and constipation
- Muscle, bone, skin and joint injuries
- Sexually transmitted diseases
- Skin infections, rashes, insect bites and warts

Our office hours are by appointment only. If your child is sick, please call us as early in the day as possible. We can help determine whether your child needs to come in that same day, and we can figure out the best time to schedule them.

Our Vaccination Policy
At Children’s Health Primary Care Plano – Parker Road, our practice follows the vaccine schedule recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
