Biography

Theresa Shouse, M.D., is a pediatrician at Children's Health℠ specializing in well-child care. She believes it is important to address children's physical and mental health, from birth through young adulthood. Dr. Shouse provides well-child exams, sports physicals, diagnostics and treatments for minor injuries, acute and chronic illness and behavioral conditions such as attention issues and anxiety. She is passionate about newborn care and enjoys celebrating the miracle of birth with new parents and helping them develop their nurturing skills.

Dr. Shouse earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She completed her residency training in pediatrics at Children’s Medical Center Dallas.

Dr. Shouse has provided pediatric care in Plano, Texas for more than 30 years. She cares for children of all ages, from birth to age 18.

Dr. Shouse is a native of West Texas and married her high school sweetheart. In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband, two grown children and grandchildren. She also enjoys landscape design, perennial gardening and traveling.
