Biography

Katherine Stumpf, M.D., is a neonatal-perinatal medicine specialist at Children's Health and an Assistant Professor at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Dr. Stumpf earned her medical degree at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. After completing a residency in pediatrics at the University of California San Diego, she gained advanced training in neonatal-perinatal medicine through a fellowship at UT Southwestern.

Dr. Stumpf’s research interests include immunization in the NICU, infant resuscitation, neonatal nutrition, and urinary tract infections (UTI) in preterm infants.

When she’s not at work, Dr. Stumpf enjoys cooking, reading, and traveling.
