Valbona Schwab

Valbona Schwab serves as Chief Investment Officer for Children’s Health℠. Valbona leads our long-term investment activities in alignment with the policies established by the Investment Committee of the Children’s Health System of Texas Board of Directors. She also oversees portfolio strategy, asset allocation, liquidity and cash management, and governance to ensure alignment with our financial and strategic objectives.

Prior to joining Children’s Health in 2026, Valbona served as Deputy Chief Investment Officer at Grinnell College and Managing Director at Beth Israel Lahey Health. Valbona holds a master's degree in finance and an MBA from Boston College.
