Biography

Joscyln McKenzie Patrick, APRN, PNP-AC/PC, is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at Children’s Health℠. She specializes in caring for children with complex heart conditions, with particular interests in complex biventricular repair and cardiac neurodevelopment.

“What draws me to pediatric cardiology – especially complex biventricular repair – is the opportunity to walk alongside patients and families through some of the most uncertain and meaningful moments of their lives,” Patrick says. “I’m deeply passionate about helping families navigate that journey with clarity, honesty and support, knowing how much trust they place in us.”

Patrick earned her Master of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington.

“My experience in pediatric cardiology has allowed me to care for patients and families across many settings, from the cardiac intensive care unit to inpatient and outpatient specialty care. Those experiences have shaped my commitment to providing continuity, safety and support throughout a child's journey,” she says. “I am also passionate about cardiac neurodevelopment and working with families and multidisciplinary care teams to identify opportunities early that can help children reach their fullest developmental potential.”

I’m deeply passionate about helping families navigate that journey with clarity, honesty and support, knowing how much trust they place in us.
