Hello patient: digital self-arrival

Shortly before your appointment, you may receive a text message, email or push notification with a check-in link. When you arrive, simply have a seat in the waiting area, click the link and follow the onscreen instructions to let us know you’ve arrived.

No, you can use Hello Patient without sharing your location. If you have enabled MyChart notifications, you will get a text message, email or push notification with a link a few minutes before your scheduled appointment.

When you get to your appointment, click the link and follow the onscreen instructions to let us know you’ve arrived.

Check your MyChart communication preferences to make sure you get Digital Arrival notifications.

Hello Patient lets you complete registration tasks before your arrival and lets the front desk know you’ve arrived so you don’t have to wait in line.

It also allows our staff to let you know about delays at the clinic.

If you don’t have an active MyChart account at Children's Health, you won’t be able to use Hello Patient.

If you do have an active MyChart account, check your communication preferences to make sure you get Hello Patient notifications.

Notifications are sent shortly before your appointment. If you arrive early, you may not get your notification until closer to your appointment.

1. Log in and go to the More menu.

2. Tap Settings.

3. Tap MyChart Account Settings.

4. Tap Communication Preferences.

5. Scroll down to Details and tap Appointments to open that section.

6. Tap Advanced Settings.

7. Under Appointment Information select whether you get notified by email, SMS or push notification.
