We are a group of three board-certified pediatricians and one board certified pediatric nurse practitioner serving suburban southwest Dallas and Ellis counties. We have an office conveniently located in DeSoto near Charlton Methodist hospital. Our goal is to provide excellent medical care for your child.

We consider it a privilege to be a medical home for you and your child.  Your family is important to us.

Meet our Providers

  • Dr.
    Mark Towns
    Doctor

    Mark Towns, M.D., is a pediatrician at Children's Health℠. He specializes in health and wellness screenings, emotional and social development support, immunizations and treatment for chronic and acute illnesses for children from birth through adolescence.

    Before joining Children’s Health, Dr. Towns was a physician at Pediatrics Southwest, where he was a founding member.

    He is a graduate of the UT Southwestern Medical School. Dr. Towns completed a pediatric internship and pediatric residency at Oklahoma Children’s Memorial Hospital in Oklahoma City. He received three board certifications in 1988, 1995 and 2002 and is a Fellow of the American College of Pediatricians.

    Dr. Towns has dedicated his nearly 40-year career, which has also included emergency services, to providing the care children need for their proper growth and development.

  • Dr.
    Tom Deacon
    Doctor

    Thomas W. Deacon, M.D., is a pediatrician at Children's Health℠. He regularly performs health and wellness screenings, provides immunizations, tracks children’s physical, emotional and social development, and diagnoses and treats illness, injuries and other health conditions that affect babies, adolescents and teens

    He is a graduate of the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where he completed medical school. Dr. Deacon completed his pediatric internship and pediatric residency at the Children’s Hospital of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City. He earned his board certification in pediatrics in 1990 and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

    Dr. Tom Deacon was born in Galveston, Texas and grew up near Houston, Texas.  He attended college at Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree with a Major in Chemistry and a Minor in Biology.

  • Dr.
    Jacquelynn Longshaw
    Doctor

    Jacquelynn Antoinette Guillory Longshaw, M.D., is a pediatrician at Children's Health℠. She regularly sees babies, adolescents and teens for wellness screenings, immunizations, common illnesses, chronic conditions and emotional and social development needs.

    Before joining Children’s Health, Dr. Longshaw was a physician at Pediatrics Southwest.

    She is a graduate of Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. Dr. Longshaw completed a pediatric residency at Children’s Medical Center Dallas. She is board-certified in pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

    Dr. Longshaw is passionate about addressing children’s health needs and supporting their growth and development. In addition to providing well check-ups, she treats acute bronchitis, sinusitis, upper respiratory infections, rhinitis and conjunctivitis.


  • Danielle Emmett
    CPNP
    Nurse Practitioner

    Danielle Emmett is a board certified Nurse Practitioner. Danielle completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Baylor University in 2008 and then earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in primary care from the University of Texas at El Paso in 2017. Her nursing career began in 2008 at Children's Medical Center as a Registered Nurse that includes a background in nephrology and medical-surgical nursing. She continued her career at Children's Medical Center as a Nurse Practitioner in the Department of Pediatric Nephrology. Danielle is excited to join the team at Pediatrics Southwest.

    Danielle is married to her husband Joe and they have 3 children, Alexandra, Gage and Jackson. They have one dog, a Great Dane named Zeus. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching her kids play sports and traveling.

    Hannah Justice

    Hannah Justice, MD is a Pediatrician at Children's Health. Dr. Justice is a dedicated and compassionate pediatrician who focused on delivering high-quality care to children from infancy through young adulthood.


    She earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. and completed her residency at UT Southwestern. 


    Dr. Justice has lived in the DFW area for over 15 years. She enjoys spending time with family and traveling. She also enjoys outdoor activities and her dog Fern.
