Biography
Danielle Emmett, PNP, is a pediatric nurse practitioner at Children’s Health℠. She regularly sees patients, from birth to adolescence, for check-ups, comprehensive physical exams, lab result evaluations and more.
I'm passionate about using evidence-based guidelines and my clinical experience to provide the exceptional care these patients need and deserve.
Previously, Emmett was a pediatric nurse practitioner at Pediatrics Southwest.
She is a graduate of the University of Texas at El Paso, where she earned her Master’s in Nursing degree. She completed clinical rotations at several locations, including the Children's Health Gastroenterology Clinic, Dr. Mary Strength-Waxahachie, Children's Health THRIVE Clinic and Centennial Pediatrics.
Earlier in her career, she developed an interest in nephrology and spent several years providing in-patient kidney care to children in both the pediatric and cardiac intensive care units at UT Southwestern Medical Center and Children’s Health. She provided continuous renal replacement therapy, hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis and cared for patients with acute kidney injuries and chronic kidney disease.
Emmett is dedicated to providing the highest level of care to children and their families.

When she’s not working, Emmett enjoys spending time with her husband and three children and traveling.
