Neonatal-Perinatal | Maternal Child
“We are comprised of a large group of nationally and internationally recognized faculty members with expertise in virtually all aspects of modern neonatal-perinatal care and state-of-the-art research. We currently serve five hospitals across Dallas, accounting for more than 20,000 births each year, including the largest delivery center in Texas. Our research hubs are resuscitation, neonatal neurology, pulmonary and vascular biology, clinical informatics and long-term follow-up care.”

KEY PROGRAMS
Maternal Child
We provide a seamless continuum of care that begins with fetal diagnosis and extends through infancy and early childhood. Our program is driven by innovation, interdisciplinary teamwork and a strong commitment to family-centered support. Collaborates on advanced procedures such as the ex-utero intrapartum treatment (EXIT) procedure and neonatal extra corporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) Leads in delivering the highest level of neonatal care in North Texas with a Level IV NICU
Fetus to Five
Our program uses a comprehensive, longitudinal approach for supporting high-risk infants and their families from the earliest stages of life through early childhood. The program emphasizes family-centered care, preparing parents for discharge with structured education, individualized support and coordinated transition planning. Post-discharge, multidisciplinary follow-up clinics provide ongoing assessments and interventions, addressing medical, developmental and psychosocial needs up to school age and beyond.
FETAL Center
We help families navigate and overcome even the most complex prenatal conditions through accurate diagnosis, counseling, education and the assembly of specialized teams to care for babies after they are born.NeuroNICU
We provide comprehensive evaluation and advanced care for newborns with brain injuries and congenital conditions, so they have the best chance to grow and develop. We’re also the only hospital in the region to offer therapeutic hypothermia to reduce the long-term effects of brain injury from loss of blood and oxygen at birth.THRIVE
As one of the leading neonatal follow-up programs in the country, the Thrive Program at Children’s Health offers specialized, comprehensive primary care to help premature babies and full-term babies with complex conditions reach their full potential in life.
