Peter Norman Schochet, MD $$

Peter Schochet, M.D., is a pediatric pulmonologist at Children’s Health℠. He specializes in caring for children with lung conditions such as asthma, sleep apnea and chronic cough, helping children breathe easier. 

He earned his medical degree at Temple University. Dr. Schochet completed his residency training in pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine and his fellowship training in pulmonology at Boston Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Schochet researches how conditions like scoliosis, neuromuscular disorders and sickle cell disease affect the respiratory system. He frequently lectures on these topics, helping teach the next generation of physicians how to care for children with lung conditions. He has repeatedly been named Top Doctor by Texas Monthly and a Top Pediatric Specialist by D Magazine.

Dr. Schochet is the father of four grown children. He enjoys spending time with his family, including his three dogs and is an avid cyclist in his free time.
