Pediatric Anesthesiology Affiliation
Anesthesiologists For Children, Inc. (AFC) is the hosting department for Anesthesiologist Assistant Students (AA-Students). We host 4 AA-Students on a bi-monthly basis, one from each school we are contracted with. Approximately 24 AA-Students complete rotations each year at Children’s.

- Case Western Reserve University Houston and Cleveland
- Emory University
- NOVA Southeastern University
- South University
*New contracts are subject to approval by a review panel
Department specific information
- All rotations are at the Children’s Health Dallas campus.
- Students spend their first day completing department orientation. They will report to clinical assignments on their second day.
- All students are provided with a Division of Pediatric Anesthesiology Orientation and Training Handbook at orientation that outlines objectives and requirements during their rotation.
