Todd Michael Burton, MD $$

Todd Burton, M.D., is a pediatrician at Children's Health℠. He has been caring for children in North Texas for nearly 25 years. He cares for newborns, adolescents, teens and young adults when they are sick or injured. He provides health and wellness checkups, immunizations, sports physicals and physical exams.

Dr. Burton graduated from Stanford University, where he played football. He then earned his medical degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. He completed his residency training in pediatrics at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock.

“I love kids, and I have always felt called to serve. I feel truly blessed to have the opportunity to embrace these two things in what I do every day,” says Dr. Burton.

Dr. Burton is passionate about keeping kids healthy and improving their overall wellbeing. He feels it is important to be engaged in the community and has strived to do that over the years. He helped develop the Collin County Health Center – a free health clinic in McKinney for uninsured children. He also sponsors and volunteers for many community organizations and events in Collin County, including Special Olympics, “Volunteer McKinney” and various volunteer boards for the City of McKinney. He currently sits on the Community Grants Advisory Committee.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family. He loves all sorts of outdoor activities, including water and snow skiing, golf, fishing and just about all sports. He also enjoys traveling and reading.
