Biography

Teddy Mwimi Muisyo, MD is a critical care ppecialist at Children's Health℠ and an Assistant Professor at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Dr. Muisyo earned his medical degree at the University of Nairobi School of Medicine in Kenya. He completed a residency in pediatrics at the John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago. He received advanced training through a pediatric critical care fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis.

Dr. Muismo's research interests are focused on improving the quality of care and outcomes of children admitted to the pediatric intensive care unit.
