Biography

Sharanya Ajaykumar, D.O., is a Pediatrician at Children’s Health℠. She provides primary care for children of all ages, with a focus on helping families feel heard, supported and empowered. Her clinical interests include childhood growth and development, pediatric mental health and lactation/breastfeeding support.

“It is an honor to be entrusted with the care of children and I am deeply passionate about advocating for both my patients and their families,” she says. “My goal is to foster lasting, meaningful relationships built on trust, while delivering evidence-based, equitable care to the community I serve.”

Dr. Ajaykumar earned her medical training at the University of North Texas Health Science Center and completed her residency in Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine.

“As a proud alumna of Allen High School, I am honored to serve the same community that inspired and supported my dream of becoming a pediatrician,” she says.

Outside of work, Dr. Ajaykumar enjoys cooking new recipes for her family and friends, traveling with her husband and knitting.
