Paige Bailey Wahl, Au.D., is a certified clinical audiologist with Children’s Health℠ who cares for children of all ages with hearing disorders.

Audiologists specialize in providing diagnostic, rehabilitative and other services for conditions that affect hearing and balance. They use tests to diagnose and treat these problems using techniques such as hearing aids, balance therapy or hearing rehabilitation. They also work closely with ear, nose and throat physicians (otolaryngologists) to care for the medical causes of hearing problems.

Dr. Wahl earned her Doctorate in Audiology at the University of Texas at Dallas in 2010. While there, she also studied to become a pediatric aural habilitation specialist who trains children with hearing loss and their families to maximize their ability to communicate with each other. In 2003, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience at the University of Texas at Dallas.

At Children’s Health, Dr. Wahl assesses and treats young patients who have issues with hearing. She is experienced with a wide range of tests and treatments, including pediatric behavioral testing, immittance testing, otoacoustic emissions, newborn hearing screenings, and diagnostic auditory brainstem response evaluations. Dr. Wahl has prior experience with vestibular testing and hearing aids.

Dr. Wahl serves as a faculty associate with UT Southwestern. She holds a certificate of clinical competence in the field of audiology through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Dr. Wahl is a member of the American Academy of Audiology, the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and the Texas Academy of Audiology.
