Meyling Jennifer Oei, DO $$

Meyling Oei, D.O., is a Pediatrician at Children’s Health℠. She focuses on general pediatrics as well as obesity, nutrition, growth and development. 

I am passionate about pediatrics because it offers the unique opportunity to guide children through every stage of their development, helping them grow into healthy, confident adults.

“I am passionate about pediatrics because it offers the unique opportunity to guide children through every stage of their development, helping them grow into healthy, confident adults,” she says. “There's something profoundly rewarding about not just treating illnesses but also promoting healthy habits, emotional well-being, and resilience that will benefit them throughout their lives.”

Dr. Oei earned her medical degree from Des Moines University. She then completed her internship at Peconic Bay Medical Center and her residency in pediatrics at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center.

“Pediatrics allows me to be a trusted partner for both children and their families, offering support and education that can shape a child's future,” she says. “Watching my patients grow and knowing I've played a role in their journey toward adulthood makes this specialty truly meaningful to me.” 

Outside of work, Dr. Oei enjoys climbing, hiking, biking, cooking, photography and crafting.
