Biography

Matthew Mosgrove, M.D., is a Pediatric Cardiologist at Children’s Health℠. He specializes in fetal cardiology, congenital heart disease and preventive cardiology.

“I am passionate about pediatric cardiology because of the wide range of physiology that we see and care for,” Dr. Mosgrove says. “It is a privilege to partner with families and walk with them through diagnosis, treatment and ongoing care. This is an incredible field where we can support children as they live healthy, happy lives.”

Dr. Mosgrove earned his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine. He then completed a residency in Pediatrics at Emory University School of Medicine, followed by a fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Dr. Mosgrove’s research interests include using echocardiography to detect heart disease earlier and understanding how social determinants of health may influence access to pediatric cardiology care. 

Outside of medicine, Dr. Mosgrove enjoys spending time with his wife and three young children. They are active in their church community and enjoy going to the zoo.
