Biography
Gokhan Kalkan, M.D., is an infectious disease specialist at Children's Health and an Associate Professor at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
Dr. Kalkan earned his medical degree from Marmara University School of Medicine in Istanbul, Turkey. He completed pediatrics residency training at Hacettepe University Children’s Hospital in Ankara, followed by a fellowship in pediatric critical care medicine through the joint program at the University of California, San Francisco, and Children’s Hospital & Research Center Oakland. He later completed pediatric residency training and a pediatric infectious diseases fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.
Dr. Kalkan is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in General Pediatrics and Pediatric Infectious Diseases.
