Biography

Brandon Harthan, PA-C, is a Physician Assistant - Orthopedics at the Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine at Children’s Health℠. He specializes in sports medicine, pediatric orthopedic trauma and orthopedic injury management.

“I love being able to help highly motivated and high-level athletes at all ages return to not only their sports, but their everyday activities after injury,” Harthan says.

Harthan earned his graduate degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of North Dakota.  He was also recently appointed to an assistant professor position at West Coast University Physician Assistant program. In addition to his clinical expertise, he brings over a decade of experience as a certified athletic trainer, having worked with athletes in professional, collegiate and high school settings. 

His dedication to community engagement and patient care has been recognized with the Manning Family Children’s Physician Assistant Outstanding Community Involvement Award and the Texas Tech Sports Medicine Staff Member of the Year honor.

Outside of medicine, Harthan enjoys spending time with his family traveling internationally and domestically.
