Biography
Alison Dolce M.D., is a pediatric neurologist. She focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of children with epilepsy, evaluating and caring for children from the onset of seizures to those who continue to have seizures despite trying multiple medications.
Dr. Dolce has a particular interest in those children who may be candidates for additional treatment options including the ketogenic diet, neurostimulation and epilepsy surgery.
Dr. Dolce received her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston and went on to complete a residency in pediatrics at Children's National Medical Center in Washington, D.C., followed by a second residency in pediatric neurology at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. Upon completion of her pediatric neurology training, she then did a clinical neurophysiology fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
Dr. Dolce is board-certified in neurology with special qualification in child neurology, clinical neurophysiology and epilepsy.
Dr. Dolce earned "Best Doctor" nad "Best Pediatric Specialists" from D Magazine.
